Červen 2007 Životnost jednoho z prvních letounů Z 143 L patřící bulharskému aeroklubu, byla prodloužena ze 6000 hodin na 12000 hodin. Protože šlo o první letoun, který dosáhl původní doby životnosti, musel tento letoun projí důkladnou prohlídkou a některé díly byly z důvodu bezpečnosti vyměněny. Životnost některých letounů ZLIN 242 L byla již v minulosti prodloužena na 11000 hodin. Výše uvedené potvrzuje vysokou kvalitu letounů ZLIN.

Naše společnost zastoupená jednatelem panem Williamem Harkinem změnila ke dni 22.2.2007 své obchodní jméno na Moravan Aviation s.r.o. se sídlem Letiště 1578, 76581 Otrokovice. Identifikační číslo společnosti je 25347900 a DIČ je CZ25347900. Čísla účtů byla také změněna. Věnujte prosím těmto změnám větší pozornost před provedením platby.

We have successfully handed-over the last of six airplanes Z 242 L to India’s flying school. We would like to thank to all of our partners participating in this deal for their help.
By completing first airplane delivery to India, Moravan-Aeroplanes a.s. gains a reputation of a reliable manufacturer between demanding Indian customers. Moravan-Aeroplanes is presently placing bids in other aircraft tenders around the India.

During the month of January the Moravan - Aeroplanes company visited Mr. Thomas Bata Jr., son of the fouder of ZLIN aircraft production. Mr. Bata was accompanied by Irish Ambassador, who introduced a potencial future owner of Moravan - Aeroplanes a.s., Mr. B.Harkin of QucomHaps.

Two more ZLIN aircraft Z 242 L were delivered and assembled in IGRUA. Due to foggy weather in this time of the year both will be test flown and handed over together with the last two aircraft, which are on the way to India right now.

After through test flight the first two aircraft Z 242 L were successfully handed over to the biggest Indian flying school - I.G.R.U.A. Aircraft received Certificate of Airworthiness and also FAA USA Z 242 L Type Certificate was accepted for the Republic of India.

August 2005
New ZLIN Z 143 LSi with fuel injected engine, the first one from serial production, was handed over to Czech customer. It was signed in the Czech Aircraft Registry under OK-STA which is an abbreviation for SHOTAERO, a company the aircraft is now flying for.

First two aircraft for Indian customer were test flown, dismatled and shipped in a container through New Delhi to Raebareli flying school.

V rámci seznámení se s novým letounem ZLIN Z 143 LSi, který je modernizovanou verzí letounu ZLIN 143 L, přiletěl z Holandska ve dnech 8.6.2005 - 9.6.2005 do Moravanu-Aeroplanes a.s. pan Rini van Den Brink s pěti dalšími piloty a posádkou. Po shlédnutí výrobních prostor závodu absolvovali všichni návštěvníci demonstrační let s výše jmenovaným letounem ZLIN Z 143 LSI.

Moravan - Aeroplanes opens its own flying school. The school which complies with all international standards required by CAA of Czech republic now offers an aircraft rental for a competitive prices, aerobatic courses with company's test pilots and a pilot licence courses.

We would like to apprise that at the beginning of April 2005 our company Moravan - Aeroplanes a.s. signed a contract with India's major government flying academy. Upon this contract Moravan - Aeroplanes delivers a six Z 242 L training and aerobatic ZLIN aircraft to this important customer within the period of next eight months.
This is a very important step closer to all India's flying enthusiasts because the best way to get know the great flying characteristics and handling qualities of ZLIN aircraft is to be flying them.
Many thanks belongs to Moravan - Aeroplanes' distributor in India Mr. M.M.Varman the Managing Director of Varman Group who made this deal possible. Demands from other Indian flying schools and academies are already taking place.

We would like to inform you about a possibility to make a modification to the wing main spar attachment fittings of your aircraft according to Service Bulletins Z 42/45a, Z 142/42a and Z42/51a - Rev.1, Z 142/49a - Rev.1.
This modification primarily includes the original wing hinges replacement for the newly designed ones. Said replacement is necessary with respect to the age of the operated aircraft and considerably improves the safety of given aircraft.
Unfortunately we have noticed that such a modification has been done at one service place, which used other than original parts manufactured by our company and also didn't follow the exact replacement procedures. Such a work was found very dangerous and unacceptable
by CAA for further safe operation of the aircraft because the wing hinges are critical parts of every aircraft.
After this experience the CAA of Czech Republic decided that modification of wing hinges can be done by manufacturer i.e. Moravan - Aeroplanes a.s. only (for overseas owners and operators an individual arrangement will be agreed).
We would like to apprise all ZLIN owners and operators that because of possible threat to health and/or even human lives, company Moravan - Aeroplanes a.s. has never sold any documentation and/or parts (wing main spar attachment fittings) for such a modification.
It is very important for us to keep all ZLIN aircraft safe and dependable.

Chtěli bychom Vás informovat o postupu v případě rekonstrukce kořenové části křídla podle ZB Z 42/45a, Z 142/42a, resp. ZB Z42/51a - Rev.1, Z 142/49a - Rev.1
Tato úprava obnáší zejména výměnu původních závěsů křídel za závěsy křídel nové konstrukce. Uvedená výměna je nutná s ohledem na stáří provozovaných letadel a výrazně zvyšuje bezpečnost daného letounu.
Bohužel se již stalo, že jedno servisní pracoviště nepoužilo při úpravě kořenové části křídla originální náhradní díly a že tato úprava byla provedena bez náležité dokumentace. Toto bylo shledáno jako velmi nebezpečné a neakceptovatelné ÚCL ČR, protože závěsy křídel jsou kritickými díly každého letounu s ohledem na bezpečnost posádky. ÚCL České Republiky rozhodlo omezit provádění úprav kořenové části křídla pouze na výrobce letounů MORAVAN-AEROPLANES a.s., po výše uvedených špatných zkušenostech s neprofesionálním a neodborným prováděním těchto prací. V případě velké vzdálenosti provozovaného letounu jsme schopni nabídnout i individuální řešení.
Chceme upozornit všechny majitele a provozovatele, že s ohledem na možné ohrožení zdraví či dokonce života osob, společnost MORAVAN-AEROPLANES a.s. nikdy neprodala dokumentaci na úpravu kořenové části křídla a nikdy neprodala samotné závěsy křídel jako náhradní díl.

We, as a manufacturer of all ZLIN airplanes, created a new project, which enables us to extend the airframe lifetime of Z50 M aerobatic model by 600 hours. The extension is acceptable by Czech CAA only after thorough overhaul of the airplane in our company (MORAVAN-AEROPLANES a.s.) and after the replacement of some critical parts (engine mounts for example) regardless of their condition. The first extended-life Z 50 M was handed-over to the customer on 11.11.2004. Another Z50 M is in process right now.

At the end of October 2004 Moravan – Aeroplanes a.s. delivered last of the three aircraft to Macedonian Civil Aviation Authority. Successful cooperation with Macedonian government will continue further in the level of performing revisions and upgrades of the aircraft delivered earlier to Macedonian CAA and Macedonian Air Force as well.

This modified version of current four - seat aircraft Z 143 L has a new 235HP Textron Lycoming engine with fuel injection system.
This system improves fuel distribution to each cylinder, slightly lowers fuel consumption, gives engine the ability to operate in more flight positions and by many pilots considered as a significant advantage - prevents the refrigeration type icing that occurs in a carburetor type engines.
The Civil Aviation Authority of Czech Republicused the FAR Part 23, Amdt. 23-41 incl. for Certification Basis. The certification by FAA is pending.
